2026 Cadillac LYRIQ V

The Lyriq's SUV body fits right into Cadillac's modern lineup, but this EV really feels like one of the great, cushy luxury sedans of the brand's past. Smooth and silent electric propulsion contributes to that impression, but the comfortable cabin and plush ride are what complete it. The Lyriq prioritizes range over power, with almost every powertrain capable of driving more than 300 miles on a charge. The Lyriq's price point significantly amplifies its appeal. The BMW iX is more engaging to drive and the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has a classier cabin, but both are substantially more expensive than the Cadillac. Even the Acura ZDX, which is based on the Lyriq, starts several thousand dollars higher. For most versions of the Lyriq, Cadillac's three-tiered split trim level lineup remains for 2026, but now they have names instead of being numbered 1, 2 and 3. Luxury trims have chrome exterior trim, while the Sport models have black trim, body-color door handles and a unique grille. The base trims are simply Luxury and Sport, while the middle tiers are now Luxury and Sport Premium and the top-of-the-line trims go by Luxury and Sport Signature. While the nomenclature has changed, the equipment hasn't; aside from a few additions here and there, features on every variant matches up with the 2025 trims. Even the Lyriq-V will feel familiar (when you aren't stomping the accelerator, that is). It's equipped virtually identically to the range-topping Signature model, albeit with a lot of mechanical upgrades.
