I bought this car due to it being a very good deal and at the time I needed a basic car to put miles on to save my newer car from getting too many miles. Paid under $600 and it had 135k on the clock. It’s been about a year and I can’t believe how much I love this car now. I’ve had newer, more expensive and what I thought was “desirable” cars and this almost 30 year old car gets more attention and public praise then those cars. Whenever I am gassing up, someone is bound to stop me and ask a few questions about it and what year it is. I also meticulously maintain its appearance and make sure it’s always clean and waxed. I have the 4.9L V8 motor, NOT the Northstar motor, and it is running strong without any leaks or issues at the moment. Since I bought it, I had to replace two rubber hoses which were causing a slow leak of oil/coolant and I’ve replaced brake pads. I power washed the engine and make sure I change the oil religiously when the car’s computer tells me to. This old engine runs fantastic and is very fast. I am in love with this car! I get about 23mpg avg city/highway combined mileage and it’s super comfy. Couldn’t recommend this car for first drivers enough, it’s big and safe and easy to maintain with just oil changes and routine maintenance. Make sure to check for rust issues, which is something any car of this age could potentially have. But for the person with limited means and a desire to make something last, I think this is a perfect car to try to make a daily driver with under $1000.

My grandparents have a 1994 Cadillc Deville, it is getting old and losing its charm, but it is basicly a good car. The seats are getting lower and lower, but they are comfortable. The ride is a little rough too. Gas mileage is only good on the express ways though, in the city we average of about 15.5 mpg. The side mirrors need to be larger for such a big car. Nothing ever seems to go wrong with it though, never had to change a light in it, never had engine problems, guess that is why we still have it 15 years later.

Bought this 94 when i returned from Kuwait. Had sold a 93 Fleetwood I'd had the yr before deploying. 94 get's better MPG city and hwy and is a better ride. All options worked and have continued too. Have over 140k miles on it with only base repairs based on mileage. Driven RT across country will NO problems. The only "strange" thing is the engine backfires and gets sluggish for no apparent reason and with no regularity. No the FI, or plugs/wires. Once it starts cannot accelerate. I pull over and cut the engine, re-start and no more problems, until it's next time to do it.

My high school gift. I bought the car used with 53,000 miles. Was very happy. It had the power and space, but at 72,000 miles coolant was leaking into the engine. It over heated when the engine was at high RPM's. Found out that coolant leaked through a broken head. There was nothing we can do to fix it. I had to buy another motor in order to keep it running. Now the transmission doesn't shift smoothly. Car shakes when braking. Gives out horrible MPG, avg at 12 MPG.

This model is high performance in comfort, style and dependability. For 15 years it has been well maintained and in very good shape. The best looking car on the road even today! White Deamond exterior with tan leather roof. Interior is light tan and comfortabel for travel. Needs some computer adjustments but all in all excellent car.
