Buckboard Track SUV??
I had the XM for a week a couple times when my M3s and iX were in service. This is an amazingly engineered machine, and the drag race wins and track times from various channels are truly impressive. Anyone spending $200K wants to make a statement, and the XM certainly does. But that was the point, wasn't it? Edmunds reviewers drive Civics, so you can't really take them seriously. a 5.7? Value? Buy a Suburban. I absolutely love how Edmunds adjusted the "Electric range/MPG" to adjust the XM as low as [possible. It is no worse than any other big SUV. How can 22mpg and 34 miles of range score a 3.1? I'll tell you the biggest ripoff I've owned lately was the $200K+ Porsche Cayenne, which is just a fast Tiguan, and looks like a V-6 Cayenne. GLS AMG is cool too. But it's more than $200K, and looks boring. The XM has a presence no other competitor has, and Edmunds doesn't get that. Buyers do not want to homogeneity of an X7. But the overall theme for Edmunds is that they like what they like, and ONLY what they like.
