Used 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35i 4dr SUV AWD (3.0L 6cyl Turbo 8A) Consumer Reviews
Refined and improved
Terrific road car. The BMW X5 was significantly improved for 2014 and later models. Evolutionary styling. Great handling and performance with better sound insulation. A little thirsty but versatile with useful storage. Some of the electronic controls take a while to learn and master and could be more intuitive.

Bummer is Best
This is the Best SAV that I have owned to date. Reliability, safety and resale value is important to me and this stands true with this X5!

Disappointing
I leased this car in 2014, and returned it in 2017 with about 12k miles on it. I simply hated driving that car. The handling was awful. It was so light ... I did not feel comfortable on the parkway. The seats were also terribly uncomfortable. Historically BMW was the Ultimate Driving Machine. Not anymore. Against my better judgement, I leased another X5 in 2017. The only reason that I did was because of the ‘full’ maintenance program (which btw, is not so full anymore). The 2017 handled just as poorly as the 2014. In 2020 for the first time in many years I did not lease another BMW.
