2004 BMW X5 4.4i AWD 4dr SUV (4.4L 8cyl 6A)

I've now covered 5500 miles, with no
problems, other than moisture appearing
in the parking lights. After driving a
2000 528IA sedan for 3 years, I wasn't
sure how I'd feel about the switch to
this SUV. After 3 days behind the wheel
I was sold, and will probably never go
back to a sedan again. This handles
and rides like a BMW, but offers the
typical function SUVs offer. It's
luxurious, yet tasteful and not overdone

Best Features

The smoothness and power of the 4.4 V8 is incredible, but gas mileage suffers as a result. My conbined city/ highway is around 15mpg on premium. The 16 way comfort seats are excellent, as is the visability. Top quality BMW fit and finish throughout.

Worst Features

The factory nagvigation system is the worst system I've ever experienced!-- The after market system on my 2000 528 sedan was far superior, and at lower cost 3 years ago! Entry and exit very difficult. Added BMW accessory running boards and solved the problem.
