X6 Hybrid a Great Piece of Engineering
By Geir Karlsen on

2010 BMW ActiveHybrid X6 4dr SUV AWD (4.4L 8cyl Turbo gas/electric hybrid 7A)

Changed from a 2006 X5 4.8 to the 2010 X6 Hybrid. It was like night and day. The driving experience is stunning. The car looks great and clings to the road, is fast and is absolutely marvelous on the highway. Cruising between 60 and 90 is a dream. My BMW ownership has always been the best. Great service and sales and the high calibre BMW engineering and workmanship are why I have my 4th BMW.

Best Features

Interior is first class, especially the seats. Very comfortable seats with lots of adjustments. Great smooth acceleration. Handles side wind much better than the X5.

Worst Features

Lane departure warning should be standard. Need to be careful with passenger side blind zones. Driver side not too bad for blind spots. Ought to have high resolution navigation screen and live weather web access. Need Dinan chip upgrade. Would be just right with another 90-hp.
