Used 2018 BMW 5 Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Mercedes buyer
After owning several Mercedes I elected to venture once more into German engineering and get a 2nd car for my winter home. Between the E class and the 5 series I hemmed and hawed, the Mercedes is luxury at its finest..but to be honest I liked the lines of the BmW somewhat better. So I pulled the trigger on a 530i xdrive, and I’m definitely not sorry I did. Mpg is coming in at 37mpg 35% city/ 65% hwy. The bang audio unit is outstanding HUD is clear and bright on sunny days Acceleration is quick but not what I’d call fast Brakes are excellent Handling is excellent Seats and leather appointments are excellent Ride is stiffer than a Mercedes but it feels more surefooted than a coupe. Original Msrp in 2018 was 70k Buy one new or pre owned you won’t be sorry and I think you might be drawn back to the commercials of “the ultimate driving machine” and agree :)

540i great LA to SF transportation
Not as sports car feeling as the 335 Averages 30mpg highway LA to SF. Comfortable at any speed Not as tight as 335 January 2020 still as good as new.
