2011 BMW 5 Series 528i 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 8A)

This is my 3rd BMW so far, the new 5 series is spacious, comfortable and a joy to drive. The 8-speed automatic transmission (with the sports option on the steering wheel) is a joy to use and provides a very smooth ride. I drive the car in Lebanon on twisted mountain roads. The car is very well balanced. Handles turns and corners with precision.

Best Features

The 3L engine is extremely fuel efficient and responds nicely when accelerating. The looks reflect what BMW is all about.

Worst Features

The 8 speed sports transmission could use some improvements. In sports mode, starting on a traffic light, stepping on the gas pedal results is a lag of 0.5 to 1 sec then a sudden acceleration. The gear then locks in a low ratio and does not change properly to the appropriate gear.
