This is my eighth new BMW over the years and what a difference in design, technology application and quality. I think BMW has done an excellent job in this new 5 series. It took me less than half an hour to go over the "i-drive" and learn it. The aerodynamic lines and trims are impressive.

Best Features

Sports package combined with the active steering is unbeliveable. Everytime I drive it, I feel like Mario Andretti (except I don't go as fast). Ergonomics in the cabin are perfect. The dash material quality is exceptional.

Worst Features

The run flat tires (RFT) should be an option. The fact that BMW will not repair them is a shortcoming and a mistake to use on the 5 series. If it cannot be repaired, the cost benefit analysis for the customer must show positive, ie it should be fairly cheap to replace and in this case it is not.
