Not your usual boring wagon!

2001 BMW 5 Series 525i 4dr Sport Wagon (2.5L 6cyl 5M)

After seven years driving my reliable but plodding Volvo 940, my new 525iT is a luxurious breath of fresh air! It may look like your tame suburban station wagon, but it drives like a spirited sports car. The optional leather seats and interior are luxurious and the premium sound system superb. I keep finding excuses to go driving!

Best Features

I love the way the automatic transmission adjusts to my driving mood. The sport mode is fun when I'm feeling spunky. The audio controls on the steering wheel make driving so much safer, and I love the quality sound system. The self-leveling Xenon headlights really open up the view at night.

Worst Features

The cup-holders in the front console are flimsy and I wonder how long they will last. My model did not come with any cup-holders in the back. The center console storage is very limited. I would like to see some kind of grocery bag nets in the cargo area, as are offered in the Volvo V70 wagon.
