Unique look and rides great!
I love the 2014 535i Gran Turismo. The body is very cool in an awkward way. We always get compliments. Also the interior room is great. Lots more than a regular 5 series. I have read that is because BMW had to put the 5 series GT’s on a 7 series chassis. You can definitely feel the size difference. The room of a 7 series for a 5 series price … no complaints from me

Jack of all trades. Master of them all though.
I recently bought my GT 550xi 2016 with a factory warranty left until 2020. Initially I test drove 535 thinking it would be adequate enough with a better gas mileage. Nope. The car was too slow to the extent I even thought the turbo was blown off. The engine was noisy and with not a pleasant sound. Now 550 is a totally different animal. It is very powerful, drives like a large sports sedan and has a nice low-frequency growl from the engine with a much better sound isolation from the engine compartment. So I`m willing to put up with a higher gas consumption when the car is that good. The interior`s fit and finish are superb, better than those of 750 I tried also. It has more space in the cabin, higher stance on the road but better balance and maneuverability than SUV. The look is astonishing and eye-catching also. All in all I love this car and plan to keep it for a few years. As far as the reliability is concerned I cannot say anything at the moment but I hope it will be above average.

Ugly!
This Car is the perfect example of a love/hate relationship. The interior is flawless, it's simply gorgeous, handles good, But what was the designer thinking! It's the ugliest car in the world! It must have been beaten with the ugly wand! Ugh!
Great Road Trip car
Very good riding long trip car with a hatchback that allows it to also be a good hauler.

Had 550i GT 5 days, In shop 12 days
Had the car for four days and the DDC failed. Dealer cannot fix the problem but they are trying. I have no complaints with the dealer it is BMW that is the problem. Need a part from Germany but it will take, and I quote BMW, "WEEKS". To be continued
