2004 BMW 3 Series Convertible 330Ci Rwd 2dr Convertible (3.0L 6cyl 6M)

Review

I bought this car last april
for my wife as she graduated with
honors. It is electric red and natural
brown and every possible option in it.
What a head turner. So far I have
almost 4,000 miles on it w/out any
problem except one !!! I can't stay
away from this car. Every time I need
to go somewhere I constantly ask my
wife to give me the keys to the
bimmer. It is so much fun to drive. I
personally have a Lexus GS430 and yes
I do agree that I have much more power
but who needs it - - if it comes w/out
handling. This car has been
personally engineered for anybody who
is a control freak at speeds about 130
miles per hour. I have driven it at
148 mph - nic

Best Features

Handling at speeds above 100mph. Smooth tranny. Body Kit. Rims. Turning headlights, sensor vipers, muffler note, LED tail lights, steering wheel control, large fog lights, highway fuel consumption. I highly recomment this car also it does have some flaws...ready below....

Worst Features

doors to heavy, seats are to narrow (sport package), sound system sucks (yes its harbon), navigation sucks (not a touch screen), city fuel consumption, a little too stiff.

Review

I previously owned a 320 BMW
convertible, and was persuaded to
upgrade to the 330. The difference is
noticeable. I love the acceleration
from a standing start, and the car is
even more fun to drive than its
predecessor. With a BMW convertible,
you can really feel the driving, and
hear the engine. I like being able to
sense the road beneath the wheels: a
true driver's car.
It also helps that I have done the BMW
driver training program, which gives
you more information and practical tips
on how to handle these powerful cars.
My only gripe is that driving in LA
traffic, I don't get to push the car as
often as I would like!

Best Features

Steptronic is a wonderful feature that allows you to drive 'manually' on the open road

Worst Features

Better fuel economy!

Review

Really struggled having to turn in my
leased '01 Saab 9-3 convertible. I
tried Saab 9-3 aero (very nice
improvements, but no sport mode so low
torque compared to '01), and Audi (not
a driver's car). I'm now a BMW
convert. Just took delivery of my
loaded '04 330CiC with SMG and it is
incredibly responsive, looks fantastic
inside and out, and very quick.

Best Features

SMG transmission, navigation system (helpful without being intrusive), fit and finish, auto top, comfortable sport seats, HK stereo, exterior look, handling, POWER.

Worst Features

Expensive options (but worth it); lousy gas mileage (but no guzzler tax); no alarm or floor mats standard. Because of quality and demand, tough to get a good deal. Felt good about $1K over invoice when many buying for full MSRP.

Review

A great driver's car. The feel you
get while driving is just amazing!
Smooth, solid and exhilarating all
come to mind while behind the wheel.
I ordered my car with the sport and
premium package, navigation, xenon,
steptronic and HK and all are well
worth it.

With a mix of highway and city
driving, I've been averaging 22 MPG.
Not bad considering I flog it every
once in a while and believe me, it's
hard not to in this car! The driving
reward is well worth the price of
admission!

Best Features

I love the auto dimming rear view mirror, auto headlights and auto windshield wipers! The adaptive headlights are great too! Turn the wheel and lights turn with you, lighting the way around corners! Silky smooth, turbine like engine!

Worst Features

You can't see the radio station ID when the NAV system is on and the nav map disappears each time you change the radio station! HK system sounds good (with CDs) although the FM radio reception could use some improvement. A CD/Radio mode control switch on the steering wheel.
