2003 BMW 3 Series Sedan 325xi AWD 4dr Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 5M)

Review

It's a great car, a lot of fun to
drive. My third 3 series, but first
AWD. Has plenty of hp and torque. The
car shifts silky smooth.

Best Features

The great seats, the handling and the looks.

Worst Features

The key is too big. Go back to the separate key and remote.

Review

THIS IS A GREAT CAR WITH A RIDE, BUT IT
DOES NOT TAKE CORNERS AS WELL AS I
WOULD LIKE IT TO.

Best Features

HARMON KARDON STEREO IS TERRIFIC.

Worst Features

WOOD TRIM HAS SOME FINISH DEFECTS. LEATHER IN SEATS COULD BE THICKER WITH A SOFTER FINISH.

Review

Friends told me if I test drove this
car, I would buy it--they were right.
It feel like a small luxury sedan that
handles like a sports car. This makes
typical driving fun. It provides a
firm ride, but it soaks up the bumps--
best balance between handling and
comfort.

Best Features

The AWD makes driving on wet/slippery streets a piece of cake with no spin out. Interior acommodations top notch. Bi-xenon headlights are superb. Rain sensing wipers are amazing. Automatic very intelligent and adpts for turns, hills, you name it.

Worst Features

Sun visors are a bit annoying and need help. Noise from the AWD transmission a little noisy, but not a nuisance. Would prefer cruise control on a stalk rather than steering wheel. Would like auto-dimming side mirrors. Too many ashtrays.

Review

I was thinking of what car I should get
and I was thinking of getting either a
BMW 3 series and an Audi A4. The first
dealership we went to was the Audi.
First I tested out the 1.8T Quattro. I
couldn't believe how horrible the
acceleration was. Next I tried the 3.0
Quattro. Not great acceleration but 3x
as good as the 1.8T. Then I tried out
the Beamer. Great acceleration. I had
narrowed my choice down to the 325xi or
the 3.0 Quattro. I decided to get the
beamer. Reasons being that reviews on
the Audi said people had major engine
problems such as broken coils and only
4 of 6 cylinders working.

Best Features

Steptronic automatic transmission bi-xenon headlights

Worst Features

6 cd changer(in dash) cup holders
