NEW YORK — A custom 2013 Kia Sportage inspired by Wonder Woman debuted on Wednesday at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

It is the latest Justice League vehicle by Kia and DC Entertainment. The cars were created to promote DC Entertainment's We Can Be Heroes campaign, which is designed to raise awareness and funds to fight the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa.

The Wonder Woman Sportage is the seventh of eight customized vehicles representing characters from the Justice League.

The Wonder Woman Sportage includes a see-through panel that displays the superhero's tiara, bracelets and Lasso of Truth. The car's exterior is patterned after Wonder Woman's patriotic costume. Other details include an aero kit and the Wonder Woman emblem embedded into the grille. The blue headlights mimic the color of her eyes, notes Kia.

The cabin gets red upholstery and blue LED lighting.

The eighth vehicle in the series, which will blend all of the Justice League characters, is set to debut later this year.

Edmunds says: We find the Wonder Woman Kia Sportage at the intersection of cars and popular culture.
