DETROIT — The domestic auto companies have for several years ceded the midsize pickup market to rivals Toyota and Nissan, but that's set to change when General Motors' Chevrolet reveals an all-new version of its Colorado midsize pickup on November 20 at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
But Chevy today released a teaser image of the 2015 Colorado. The new midsize pickup is cloaked and reveals little other than the Colorado's proportions in relation to the full-size Silverado pickups posed beside it.
Chevrolet said in a release that the 2015 Colorado "will reinvent what a midsize pickup should be," adding that, "The Colorado is engineered to be the most capable, most versatile and technologically advanced midsize truck in the market."
Edmunds says: After GM, Ford and Chrysler all deserted the midsize-pickup market, GM is the first to return with the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado.
