TOKYO — Honda said it will unveil a concept of the redesigned 2012 Civic in January at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. The automaker said the concept is intended to show the "styling direction" of the next Civic, which is slated to go on sale next spring in the U.S.
Honda released a sketch of the new car, which appears to borrow some styling cues from the Honda CR-Z. The company said "the production version of the ninth-generation 2012 Civic (will be) based on the revealed concept."
