Has a sort of launch program where it revs up and feeds clutch automatically. Decent launch and snarly sound, but not the quick response we had hoped for. Transmission is super-quick, however.
Extremely rapid-cycle ABS issues no pulses. Pedal is very firm and and vibration-free. Very little dive in "sport" setting, but barely any more in "normal."
There's some strange power-shifting and weight-shifting things happen on the skidpad. It's obvious Audi doesn't want it to understeer. Steering with the throttle rather than the wheel for both runs. In the slalom, it's difficult to find a rhythm in this car. First few runs it downshifted from 4th to 3rd on the exit, decided to go with 3rd, but then the AWD makes the car more squirrely. Finally felt like we got got a decent run, then tried it with the wing up and it felt more stable and went quicker. Some initial understeer then steering gain. Steering is light but precise.
