for 40k I would buy the s4, even for
60 I would still buy a s4 and keep the
rest. I mean, whats better?
m3, well it has little problem with
the transmission and a big problem
with 8k redline.
If it bothers you that the s4 goes 5.5
then a chip and exhaust will do.
and when you run race fuel, the s4
gain more hp then other cars gain.

So, unless you just dont like the
look, its a great car to own.

Best Features

a great package of performance comfort and luxury a ture performance car

Worst Features

detuning. And maybe the rs4 body kits should be standard/option on the US models

Review

The S4 was my first foray into the
"rarified air" of automobiles. Forty
large may be chump change to some, but
I took the investment with deathly
seriousness. That said, the finacial
outlay was definitely worth it. The S4
is by far and away the most enjoyable,
and complete, car I've ever driven. I
spent many months comparing it against
the BMW 330, Infiniti G35, and hordes
of other, similarly priced rides. In
the final analysis, while each of those
cars brings something very special to
the show, the S4 seems to bring
EVERYTHING. It's fast, safe, luxurious,
and--at least compared with Bimmer,
Porsche, and some of the other uber-
marques--sanely priced.

Best Features

Just about everything: fantastic engine; spiffy Alcantara interior; powerful brakes; tight, but not overly jarring, ride; understated, elegant exterior design that manages to avoid the "boy-racer" look that claims so many other sporty cars

Worst Features

Interior needs to be screwed together more tightly; long-term longevity of turbos is a question mark

Review

After renting an A4 on vacation and
being rather impressed, decided to look
into an S4 when buying a new car. We
suddenly became VERY impressed. The car
is more than capable for the average
driver and offers great performance for
those who desire it. You would spend
twice the money for a Porsche that has
like features. A Suburu WRX is cheaper
but then again its a Subaru!

Best Features

0-60 in 5.5 Seconds! Great predictable handling! Very Good brakes provided you are not doing lap after lap on a track. Able to terrorize atleast 3 friends at once!(Maybe 4 if the are small!)

Worst Features

ONLY MUST: SNOW Tires in the winter! Car needs to go on a DIET! Too Heavy! More horsepower-325-350hp! Little wider wheels. Sportier exhaust?
