Surprisingly good - eats country roads

2004 Audi A8 L quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl 6A)

Picked up new 2004 A8L recently - with
trepidation after reading about
problems/bad reviews surrounding
acceleration, brakes, and electrical
(battery life) systems. After 200 mile
run - absolutely no problems - nada. A
real all around pleasure - from both
comfort and fun to drive perspectives.
Actually this is the real luxury
alternative to a SUV - lots or room,
4wheelDrive, trunk space forever, and
adj. air suspension. My 14 year old
daughter in the back-seat loves it. A
huge move up from my 2001 BMW 330ci.
And big brother to my Jeep Cherokee

Best Features

Space, logical interior design, suspension, engine (actually found the MMI system quite easy to learn after a few minutes)

Worst Features

A bit over-kill on the electronics - no manual door knobs to unlock door from inside. Electronic trunk lock/unlock can be annoying.
