2004 Audi A6 Sedan 2.7T quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 5A)
I've really enjoyed this car so far.
It drives great, it's very quick and
sporty when you want it, yet can be
very civil for daily commuting. When
you add AWD to the mix, I don't think
there's a comparison at this level.
Not to mention it's beautiful and has
an understated sexiness BMW and MB
don't have. The only quibbles are a
few squeaks/rattles that had to be
ironed out, the seats are a little too
firm, and the sound system isn't the
best in class. Those things aside, I
love this thing. I've test driven
everything from a Corvette to a BMW M3,
and things in between... this thing has
the best of all worlds. Best car
purchase in 10 years.
The AWD for sure. All the standard
features found in this class are
great. The rear backup sensor is a
nice touch... but my biggest concern is
quality and performance, and this car
has them both.
Even with sport seats, and little more
support and a slightly softer layer
would be nice. A one-touch off button
for the A/C system would help. Angle
adjustment on steering column.
2004 Audi A6 Sedan 3.0 Fwd 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl CVT)
I absolutely LOVE this car! You have
to test drive it before you buy
anything else. It handles extremely
well, no surprise since Audi is
traditionally a racing car. Total
luxury inside and out, smooth ride,
and great value overall.
The ride is the best as el as the
handling. Quattro all wheel drive is
2004 Audi A6 Sedan 2.7T S-Line quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 5A)
I entered a lease on the s-line going
from a 1999 BMW 740i sport.
Performance and handling are very
close to the BMW with the added
benefit of AWD. Moving to much more
severe winters, hence AWD. The
interior lived up to Audi's reputation
for quality in colors, wood, etc.
Dealers are offering lower than
invoice with excellent lease rates
given the new model coming. Recommend
the leather upgrade with sport seats--
side bolstering needed for driving at
the limit and the upgrade is a major
improvement over the standard
AWD, quality interior, XM option,
convienence of folding rear seats,
performance upgrade of S-line coupled
with proven, reliable chip upgrade if
more performance desired. Full-
service maintenance contract.
Bose upgrade good but not at the level
of BMW DSP system. Auto headlights.
All moot, given the impending upgrade
2004 Audi A6 Sedan 3.0 quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)
Just picked up a A6 Quattro 3.0
yesterday. Prem, cold pkgs., and 17"
wheels and tires. $2500 incentive plus
$1000 Audi Loyalty got me out the door
at $35300. Edmunds you missed the
incentives!!! Thank goodness they
wanted to move the '04's

More power in base engine, but I knew
what I was buying.
