Used 2004 Acura TSX Consumer Reviews
A tsx-y car
Nice ride, commfortable interior,Good gas mileage,Don't see many on the road, alot of looky loos.
Best on Paper, Best on the Road
After some serious comparison shopping on paper with specs and road tests the Acura shared the top of my list with the Mazda6 and the Passat. But the VW costs thousands more with far less reliability, and the Mazda gets blown away in a test drive. The Mazda may have a better engine sound with more power on tap, but after you hit that first turn there is no looking back!! The TSX rules as the most fun to drive by far! Super agile and nimble with great cornering (though could use some more sheer horsepower). At 6'2" I just make it into the Acura but the reward is the most comfortable set of seats I have ever tried.

It Delivers
Mr brother and I came back to Acura after 9 yr absence. This is the one model that stokes both of our coals. Besides getting the new Volvo V70R next month, we are xtremely pleased with this car. Style, ergonomics, comfort, and spunky performance are all of a high order. Comparing this against our current '00 Volvo S80 T6 is between day and night. One has a considerably big car feel and comfort, while the TSX is so much more nimble and fun to drive. Both are xcellent in their own ways, however, we do like the very fine mileage we get with the auto: it mates very well with the 4-banger. Safety features not forgotten.
Sweet Ride!
I went to look at the TSX just prior to buying the V6 Accord and luckily I did. Chose the TSX because it's a great balance of performace, luxury, value, and practicality (I have 2 kids and commute 30 miles to work). An Accord is a great car, but the TSX is sportier, less common, and just fun to drive.
A Nice Balance
The past two months have been a lot of fun. The TSX handles a whole lot better than my previous car...the Acura CL. Acura has struck a nice balance between performance and comfort in this one. Its quiet, comfortable and has an excellent sound system. The engine sounds are terrific when approaching the redline. A little more power would be appreciated and I imagine we'll be seeing that in upcoming models. If you want to turn heads then this isn't the car for you. I like the way it looks but styling is certainly conservative. The American setup of the dual pipes is a nice touch.
