Used 2019 Acura MDX SUV Consumer Reviews
Overpriced , low-res surround and backup cameras .
My 2019-2020 Acura MDX advance is actually disappointing... First the backup and surround cameras are very low resolution, considering the model year, 2019-2020. The next disappointment is the acceleration from rest , the 3.5l v6 engine is, grossly underpowered and screams for mercy when a quick takeoff is required. This vehicle was grossly misrepresented in tv advertisements... I want my money back. The cabin is not all quiet and low rumbling noise can often be heard from the undercarriage The transmission is way smoother than the 2017 model year... still ,it is nothing special. I also own a 2012 Honda Accord, EXl-3.5 L with 120,000 miles and it shifts and accelerates so smoothly - I often forget it not a luxury sport car... It is such a pleasure to drive. Anyway, back to my 2019-20 MDX advance... I like the styling and design... I love that Honda honors their warranty and recalls.... This is very important! The seats are very comfortable and space is plenty... The ride is comfortable and compliant. I drive in sport mode to compensate for the anemic acceleration... Fuel consumption in sport mode is noticeable . To summarize, I wanted quicker ,smoother and quieter acceleration from rest. I also wanted surround and backup cameras with al least 1080P resolution.. not outdated resolution, Ike a smart phone from the early 2000's. For the suggested selling price of this vehicle in 2019-2020 , This outdated resolution camera system was an insult to loyal customers.

Not A Car That Holds Its Value
Beautiful car with great creature comforts. Mechanically sound and reliable, however I’ve been waiting since 11/2023 to have 2 recalls fixed. While me car is affected, it is not symptomatic and therefore I sit on a waiting list until symptoms appear. Meanwhile, the trade value has nosedived on this car by over 60% (per kbb.com) since purchase in 10/2022. Edmonds valuation is considerably higher than KBB. Still though, this car has depreciated in value much faster than any car I’ve ever owned.

Solid car
I own this car a year now.No problems at all.Handles great.Comfortable enough. I would have to say adaptive damping system is a must.Smooth quick responsive. All around a good car .But i wouldn’t be so quick to call this a luxury vehicle. It’s no Benz it’s a fancy Honda. For the price i would do it all again. No regrets at all. I love this car
