2025 Acura ADX

Acura has been late getting into the subcompact crossover SUV class (at least in the U.S.), but that all changes with the all-new 2025 ADX. As the smallest SUV in Acura's lineup, the ADX sits below the compact RDX and midsize MDX. Like most Acura vehicles, it shares some of its underpinnings with similarly sized Honda vehicles. In this case, it's the subcompact HR-V, but thanks to more power, unique suspension tuning, and a cabin featuring premium materials, the ADX clears the entry-level luxury bar.

With prices ranging from around $36,000 to $43,000, the ADX is one of the more affordable luxury SUVs in its class. That typically raises some eyebrows among luxury-minded shoppers who expect substantial compromises to refinement and comfort, but you can put those concerns to rest with the new ADX. The interior bears only a passing resemblance to the related Honda HR-V's in its basic layout, while Acura turns up the luxury quotient with rich materials and an option for racy red upholstery.

Our favorite subcompact luxury SUVs include the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLB, the related GLA and the Volvo XC40. All of these cost several thousand more than a similarly equipped Acura ADX, but if performance is among your priorities, it might be worth the extra cost to get one of these more powerful alternatives. But for most drivers, the ADX will offer decent driving dynamics as well as sufficient interior space and overall comfort.
