2023 Acura RDX 4dr SUV AWD w/A-Spec and Advance Packages (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 10A)
I purchased a 2023 new 3 weeks ago. My observations, starting with cons: Disappointing 360 degree camera. The camera on my 2017 Nissan Murano has better resolution. It's not horrible, just not what you'd expect from a premium brand. The font on the screen and labeling the various buttons and switchgear through this car is tiny. Now granted, I have senior citizen eyes. I noticed … this as soon as I got behind the wheel, so it wasn't a deal breaker.
Now the pros. Fun to drive. Very good acceleration. Loves the curves. Very comfortable seats. Both in front are 16 way adjustable. A great HUD. Wireless Apple CarPlay. Loaded with other features like heated steering wheel, heated/ventilated front seats, spare tire, wireless charging, remote start, the list goes on. What I thought would be a deal breaker for me, the touch pad interface, is easy to live with once you get the hang of it. Plus, the voice controls are very good and answering a phone call can be done from a switch on the steering wheel. The HVAC controls are hard buttons, not buried in a screen. If the camera at least matched my 6 year old Nissan's this would be a 5 star review.
