Edmunds.com Deals of the Month Now Include Lease and Finance Programs

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — November 21, 2007 — Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, today announced a significant enhancement to its True Market Value® (TMV®) Deals of the Month.

The TMV® Deals of the Month is Edmunds.com's list of the deals that currently offer the most savings to consumers for new cars, trucks and SUVs.

Previously, TMV® Deals of the Month presented Edmunds.com's determination, for each of seven vehicle categories, the vehicles that currently constitute the "best deals," assuming the consumer is paying cash for the vehicle and taking into account the relative brand strengths of the vehicles in the category. This month, Edmunds.com has added the best deals assuming that consumers take advantage of either special loan (i.e., APR) or lease programs.

In all cases, Edmunds.com calculates the savings by comparing the current TMV® price of each vehicle (after giving effect to such programs, when applicable) to its current MSRP.

"It can be difficult for consumers to find and compare deals, especially since prices and incentives change often," said Jessica Caldwell, Manager, Edmunds.com's Pricing and Industry Analysis. "We are the only Web site that provides consumers with comprehensive information on the best deals available, whether they are looking to buy or lease."
