Car Man: I live in Los Angeles county in the South Bay. I am interested in leasing a 2011 XC90 R-Design fully loaded. I also have a 2008 XC90 V8 which is leased that I am trading in. Lease ends 9/15/11. Some particulars about the SUVs: 2011 XC90 R - Sticker is $47,225. Invoice is $44,844 which is apparently $400 higher than KBB I think due to advertising costs applied in ... Nothing wrong with the 2012 batch. Volvo starts building the next model year around the first of the year and introduces them in early spring. So 2013's go into production early in 2012.
we changed our mind and wanted to buy a new xc90 instead. we were told by dealers that Volvo stops building 2012 and will accept orders for 2013 xc90. but it is still 2011 now. makes me wonder if there is something going on with the 2012 batch. any thoughts? Thanks.
carmax is a decent place for a good deal. But be wary of the condition of the car. I had mine shipped from Fl to Los angeles @ non-refundable $1000. I'd love a little advice! My husband is on deployment, and I'm trying to deal with our car issues with a rather limited auto knowledge. Party Punter - which Minneapolis dealer? We bought ours at Borton Volvo, it was under warranty, the transmission first died at 40000 miles in 2008 and it was under warranty. Just picked up a 2008 XC90 3.2 AWD w/ Premium and Climate packages, 19.5K miles and CPO for $30.2K. THere are many 2008s on the lots right now due to the 2008 lease special that Volvo ran in 2008. I think this is a good time to shop for XC 90s
I purchased the same model from the same salesperson at 128 and was told the same info about certification. And there was no negotiating on the certification cost. For the xc90, I found 128's prices to be the best, even though the advertised price that led me there turned out to be an error (and I believe it was an honest mistake). Please clear up conflicting information I am getting from two different dealerships. One (a volvo dealer) claims the 2008 XC90 I am looking to purchase will have the remaining warranty of 5yrs/60,000 miles. This is separate from the CPO warranty that is offered. Another dealer (a no-haggle car superstore) claims that the 2008 only comes with a 4yr/40,000 powertrain warranty. Who is right? Thank you very much for any help.
Anybody know the February money factor and residuals for the 2010 xc90 3.2 AWD with climate 12k per year? Well you would be paying about 5.52 percent and the residual for me would be a deal breaker. True the discount offsets some of that but still payments are way too high for a 42K car. 36% is BS!!!!!!!!!! I WON'T be a returning Volvo customer. Even with the $33.3K deal I worked out; that's $200 over invoice, less $8K in incentives, with that money factor and residual it is still about $625 / month. $125 more than I paid for my 2008 XC90. An m.f. of .00252 is absolutely NOT competitive. I leased my XC90 this time of year when the '07's were released and received a .00077 m.f. for a new model. That is what swung my decision in favor of hte Volvo over the Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Acura.

2007 Fuel consumption records (gas pump) for 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2 FWD, purchased April, 2007. Note: Mpg values of 16 mpg and below were for the entire tank consumed on very short urban trips. The #6 spark plug is ... Read More
