Dynamics
Light steering, soft suspension and uninspiring powertrains make the XC70 driving experience ordinary. Available turbocharged T6 model is new for this year and offers some personality.
Comfort
Well-shaped seats and a quiet, comfortable ride make the V70 a nice car to ride around in.
Function
The square roofline makes for good cargo carrying capability, but some of the controls, especially the audio system, are hard to understand. The optional rear-facing third-row seat is no longer available.
Design/Build Quality
The SUV styling treatment looks a bit forced.
