Volvo XC70 Lease Questions

Re: 2009 XC70 [dpeck1]

Hi dpeck1. Volvo recently enhanced its dealer cash incentive on the 2009 XC70 to $2,000. Its lease program varies by term and mileage allowance. You never mentioned what either of these variables are, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. Volvo Finance's current ... Read More...

Re: December Lease Numbers? [archielevick]

Hi archielevick. Volvo Finance's lease program for the XC70 varies by term and mileage allowance. You never mentioned what either of these variables are, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. According to the latest information that I have seen, if you were to ... Read More...

Re: Volvo xc70 [qbrozen]

"Eventhough the 2008 has more horsepower (235) on paper, I found it underpowered and sluggish compared to the 2007 (208 hp)." My wife loves the 2008 XC70 for the ride quality, but it is an extremely inefficient vehicle. We're lucky to get 20 mpg. The engine is harsh. The transmission is unresponsive. The vehicle is heavy and so slow that it's almost dangerous to ... Read More...

2008 Volvo XC70/V70

Re: XC70: Old or New Version? [nibs]

Took a 2009 XC70 T6 with 4C chassis out for a test. The T6 is imo a much better feeling car. There is competent output from the turbo charged motor and the 4C enhances the driver/road feel. Not only that, but I didn't hear the constant creaking I hear in my 08 model. Does anyone know if dealerships (including Volvo) sell repaired crash tested or damaged vehicles as ... Read More...

Volvo XC70 Lease Questions

Re: Volvo xc70 [qbrozen]

Yeah, even the sales guy was upset. He said they all agreed that it was underpowered and that Volvo wasn't making it easy for them to sell new Volvos (not too many deals). I'll probably keep mine or weight until the 2009's go on sale (with the better power). But still, I dont really like the look of the new XC70's. I also heard that SAAB is completely redesigning their ... Read More...

Re: Volvo xc70 [rogerbalser]

So let me begin by saying that I am no expert. Just a consumer. I just had my 2007 XC70 in for a service appointment and got a 2008 XC70 as a loaner. Eventhough the 2008 has more horsepower (235) on paper, I found it underpowered and sluggish compared to the 2007 (208 hp). I also wasn't crazy about the look inside. If I decide to turn in my car and lease a new one, I would get ... Read More...

Re: July money factor? [novalauren]

Here you go, novalauren. You never mentioned whether you are interested in the 2008 or the 2009 model, so for now I will assume that you want an '08. Volvo Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base '08 XC70 with 12,000 miles per year are .00084 and 48%, respectively. Changes You'd like To See in the Volvo XC70

Re: Changes You'd like To See in the Volvo XC70 [volvoxc70]

Add the 4C chassis to the US market, it already is sold in Europe. The suspensin is floaty. Also, add a T6 version like the S80. These two changes alone for the 2009 model year will help dealers avoid the hundreds of unsold XC70's off the lots. Read More...
