Was deciding between a '10 XC60 and '09 BMW X3-both slightly used and great prices.
Used comparison tools to look at space, residual value, warranties, gas mileage, standard features, etc.
Save some $$ and get your own aftermarket NAV/DVD systems
Hope this helps somebody...don't think you can go wrong with this car!
Most luxurious I've ever owned and a pleasure to drive!
Virtually no road noise!

Volvo dealership helpfulness (did purchase privately, but VOLVO walked me through everything when I took it in).
Cant think of too much.
I expected the Volvo to be fuel thirsty, so a non-factor, but maybe they can figure out a way to squeeze out a couple more MPGs.
Wish Volvo (and many other automakers) would offer more US Spec vehicles in diesel.
Pirelllis are fine, but M+S tires should be standard, especially being built in Sweden. Not really a recommended improvement, but the car does seem to always be beeping at you for some reason or another!
No biggie, because you can shut most of it off (i.e. park assist)!
Wait- SERIOUSLY there's almost no road noise?
I'm such a "girl" when it comes to cars and right now I have the Honda Pilot.
I was thinking of the Lexus Rx 350 because I don't want to hear an-y-th-in-g when I'm driving.
Would you truly recommend the XC60?
You say save $ and get nav/dvd after market. Do you know if the nav prep that many of the new vehicles come with means that you will still have it integrated into the dash or do you mean get a portable one?
