The wind noise becomes noticeable only when I hit ~60 mph, so you should do a test drive up to 65 mph to see for yourself. It's a small problem but not at all a deal breaker for me. Also, this is by no means as much wind noise as you'd get on a non-luxury vehicle. By "problem" I mean the wind noise it is somewhat more as compared to my ... Read More

So here's my review of my 2011 XC60 R-Design after living with it for a little while. These are my current perceptions (some of which maybe incorrect and I may simply not know how to do something so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Exterior: Great looking car. IMHO one of the best (if not the best) small CUV on the market today especially in R-Design trim where they've ... Read More
I found out my problem. It's a silly work around - always deny access to the phone book. After pairing the car and the phone, I get a prompt on the phone that says "Allow XC60 to access the phonebook?" If I hit no, it prompts again and I hit no again. Then they disconnect. But when I try to connect again on the car and again hit no on the ... Read More
My guess is that the BT hardware in the car is going to always be "fixed" as is from the factory. The part that can be changed is the software on the phone. I've been tardy in responding to this thread (which I started.) I, too, bought a 2011 XC60, turbo edition, and have been thinking about what I should post regarding the vehicle. Just bought a 2011 XC60 R-Design but haven't had much time in it. I'm coming from an Acura TL SH-AWD. Hi dmeinbach. Volvo's September buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 XC60 3.2 AWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00178 and 45%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2012 model are .00178 and 54%. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi, I'm looking at a Volvo XC60 3.2 AWD for a 3 yr / 36k mile lease. Are the MF and residual for a 2011 model still 0.0011 and 47%? If so, does it make more sense to get a 2012 model when the residual is at 58% or is there enough discounting done to make an '11 model cheaper? Thanks in advance for any input!
I have a 2011 and 1/2 XC 60 T6 AWD (have the car since Feb. 28, 2011 with 6800 miles now). I appreciate these replies very much. I test drove the 2011 XC60 turbo this afternoon, as well as an Infiniti FX 35, and like the ride and pickup of the Volvo much more.
