Hi Bill165, I just wanted you to know, you are not crazy. I too live on Long Island and have had exactly the same experience. Not only at Riverhead, but every other Volvo dealership as well. I currently lease a 2006 v70. I actually have a manual 5 speed ! The car has been excellent . I get great gas milage (because of the manual transmission and 5 cylinders) and your brakes ... Ron, I would like to compare notes about our experiences with Toyota of Wilmington as soon as possible. FYI: Volvo warranty person at Parkway said the CPO does not transfer. Nowhere near the greatest price on earth, working with a small dealer in a strong market for Volvos (eastern NC)... picking up a 2006 V70 2.5T with premium and climate packages... retired demo (never titled so "new") with 11000 miles... $28642 plus 379 doc plus TTL I'm sure I could have done better but not within at least 100-200 miles of here! We picked up a 2006 V70 about three months ago. And like twobigdogz is was untitled but only had 600 miles on it. It now has 3800 miles on it. In the last three months it has been in for service 4 times (soon to be a fifth time as soon as Volvo will come and remove it from our driveway) and towed once (soon to be twice). My Pirelli tires were seeming hard as rocks with balancing and roundness issues from the first few miles to about 8,000 miles when I realized they were very poor in snow.
