What year is your S80? For $120, you can get these heavy duty endlinks from IPD. I suggest going that route to avoid having to replace them every 30k miles, as was the case on the S70s and V70s....

If the volume of the XC90 isn't absolutely necessary, you could also consider a late model V70....

The Volvo V70 is the right size, but gets expensive when you put decent equipment on it. Volvo reliability isn't in the gutter like VW, but isn't great either....
