Bought the 2005 Volvo V50 T5 for its modern, sleek
center panel, awesome upgraded stereo,
and excellent low-end torque (i.e.
great peppiness when driving). The AWD,
Volvo safety, and beautiful outward
appearance of the car are great. I chose this car over
the the 2005 Subaru Outback (suboptimal
stereo), Mazda 6 (only FWD), and Nissan
Modern (aluminum) plasma-screen thin
sleek center console, Awesome stereo
system (upgraded option) Luxurious
comfortable seats. Peppiness when
driving! Minimal wind noise.
The suspension on the V50 T5 AWD is too firm.
It is not like this on the FWD model. I feel
the most minute bumps on roads. Highway driving is fine.
I am experiencing an annoying mild vibration noise from
passenger seat (when shutting doors and
over bumps), but was able to correct this
by keeping the seat in a certain
position. This car also has suboptimal interior storage.
