I've had minimal problems with the
car since we've owned it. The biggest
problem has been that the security
system has malfunctioned three
times and does not recognize my key
and will not crank. Performance is
sufficient--peppy for being less than
a 6-cylinder. Comfort is good and the
car is a top pick for long trips.
Although this is an excellent vehicle, I
still long for my heftier '91 740
The comfort of the seats, overall
ergonomics. Excellent factory sound
system. Rear seats fold down for
access to trunk. Heated front seats
are nice, too. Paint quality is top
notch. Not to mention, I think the car
looks pretty cool.
Trunk is too high for confident
reversing, transmission is jerky
beyond belief. Front wheel drive was
a big mistake--left and right wheel
stops make driving difficult and you
can feel every bump in the road in the
steering wheel. Front of car scrapes
with every dip in the road.
