Review
The sign and drive offer coupled with covered maintenance made this car an exceptional lease value. I was also looking at A4, Acura TSX and the Hyundai Genesis Coupe but the horsepower, torque and features of the S60 far outweighed the competition. The car is fast especially in Sport mode. The Blind Spot Information System and City Safety are nice features and lowered my insurance! Ride is fairly quiet and comfortable. Steering with the Touring Chassis could be tighter. (The Dynamic Chassis may have addressed this issued but I didn't want to spend extra money.) Volvo Sensus is excellent and integrates well with my ipod and phone. A great entry level luxury sports car for the money.
Favorite Features
Volvo Sensus, BLIS with folding mirrors, horsepower and torque, sports seats with leather, covered maintenance, lower insurance due to safety features.
Suggested Improvements
Keyless entry and start should be standard not option, tighter steering and cornering with Touring Chassis, front fog lights, auto unlock doors when shifted into park, spare tire standard, more storage center console storage for smaller items.

The Volvo beats them all. I can't understand why there is such little recognition in the car magazines? Consumers Reports rates the Sonata higher than the Volvo S60. They must know very little about cars and are obviously not enthusiats. The Sonata pulls to the left, the seats don't measure up, torque is not the same, cheaper interior, etc. I can't figure how the rate the Sonata almost as close as the Lexus LS 460. The Sonata has variable QC and you may get a lemon. I feel more secure with the Volvo and the warrranty and maintenance they provide. Hyundai wants the owner to change the oil every 3000 miles. Rediculous.

I just found out the Volvo has no spare. If you want a donut spare, it goes in the already small trunk. They give you an inflation kit which is worthless if you get a blowout, which is very likely with low profile tires. There is emergency road service but what are they going to do if you get a blowout at 1:00 AM Sunday morning on the Triborough bridge in NYC or anywhere else. Do they carry a donut tire with them? Probably not. I drive alot on weekends and at night. The prospect of this scenario makes me think twice about buying this care. You can get a donut spare as an option but it goes into an already small trunk. What were they thinking when they went without a spare? You can get run flat tires but they are very expensive, noisy and affect handling. After all my research, I will have to start from scratch and look for something else. I'm very uupset about this.
