Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar brake problem. I own a 2005 S40. When braking, my volvo started to accelerate. It happened 4 times in one day. I immediately got it into the dealership, and they say they've fixed the problem. I had the car back for 3 days, and so far, it hasn't happened again. Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) are very different from Recalls. A TSB is merely a message to the dealers stating something like "if you hear of this problem, we have a solution and here it is." A recall, on the other hand, is when notices go to all owners to let them know something is wrong and it should be fixed. You could have 100 TSBs for a particular model car, but ... Read More

When you turn the volume back up, the CD resumes playing. You may not be haring the radio because the system is probably in CD mode. The AWD base price is $26,170, for a total OSD price of $32,998. There is no destination charge when purchasing through OSD. I can't comment on your dealer quote. Sorry.
