Anyone on the East Coast interested in buying the latest Volvo Navigation DVD's from Navteq with me. I have a 2006 Volvo C70 with the original DVD from a few years ago. It looks like Navteq has an updated set for 2009-2009 for $200. Since I will never use Disk 1 for the East Coast and only need disk #2 for the west coast I was wondering if anyone with a 2006 c70 would be interested ... Read More...

jschlitz - we take delivery of our 2008 "in stock" Metallic Silver/Off Black 6 spd (Premium, Climate, Convenience, Bluetooth) on Sept 1 - so we might be 'C70's passing in the night' in Sweden. We drop it off at GOT FDC for shipment back to Seattle on Sept 14, flying back Sept 16. This is our 2nd Volvo OSD (05 V50 T5 AWD), but 4th overall. Back in '79, we picked up a Tourist ... Interesting! On my 99, the "bag" is made into the opening into the trunk. Not an optional item, and the spare is under the floor of the trunk so it doesn't interfere with stuff in the trunk. Seems like Volvo designers went backward instead of forward! Read More...

It's not that good a deal especially if it is 535 + tax. Volvo of Calabassas has been running an add for the last month for a 43.1 k 2008 c70. O drive off, 499+ tax for 39 months. I was able to get a similar deal to that for a 46.3 k car without costco. Volvo sales are down 12% from a year ago, it's model year end time, and the economy is pretty shaky so it's 100% a buyers market. ... Read More...

For sure lessors offer different programs in different states. But I suspect that the primary reason that good deals, be they purchase or lease, are available on the C70 at the moment is that there is a lot more dealer inventory of these cars now than a year ago, when dealers were selling them at or close to sticker. I live in Northern New Jersey and priced out a lease of a fairly loaded C70 last week. I was quoted a lease price of well under $600 a month based on a 36/12k term. Looking at the numbers, the residual value is low, but I was given a good interest rate (through US Bank, not Volvo finance, although through the dealer), and the incentives must be so high that the price of ... I think that leasing varies by region. That's why websites like Volvo's always ask for your Zip code when you go into "build your Volvo" page. Today's local paper had an ad for Volvo that included a lease offer on the C70 that threw in a "no charge" hands free bluetooth setup. I live in the northern New Jersey area. Read More...

I researched leasing a 2008 C70 extensively. Bottom line was that this car does not lease well at all. Volvo Financial Services does not offer a lease for this model, nor does Volvo Cars NA offer any 3rd party lease subventions.
