I have 3 good & 1 not so good spoked wheels & tires for sale for a 2004 C70. I hit a pot hole and damaged one of the wheels so I replaced all 4 with new tires. I live in the Allentown PA area and I'm willing to consider a reasonable offer. Read More...

I also have a 2004 C70 and when I bought it (used) the dealer had 2. The first one that I tested sounded like yours. Awful, loose front, rattled, just awful. It had 36,000 miles on it. The one that I bought has only 27K on it and its tight, handles good (except turning radius) and is generally very nice to drive. I'd find a good "private" shop that specializes in Volvos ... It's not your tires. I've had the same problem, put on new top of the line Bridgestones and no change. Volvo admits they have a "slight vibration problem" but no fix offered. My 2004 C70 now shimmy's at 26 and 52 and occasionally when starting out. Have you had any success in resolving this problem? Read More...

Hi: Sorry that I'm late to the game here. I did overseas delivery on my wife's 2004 XC90 (I have a 2000 C70 w/135k miles). I did not take any of the tours that they had. Instead I did about 1800 miles driving from the factory to Prague, Vienna, Budapest. Then up through Koln and dropped the car off in Belgium (100euro fee) to be shipped back. Hi, I just bought a 2004 C70 with about 30,000 miles on it and noticed a wobble at about 45-50 mph. The dealer said it is probably tyre/wheel related. Wonder if anyone has had the same experience? Also the Volvo dealership wants $590 for the 30,000 miles service which I think is a rip off. Does anyone know if a regular mechanic can do the same thing for less? Otherwise ... Read More...

I've had my C70 for about 2 weeks and I absolutely LOVE this car. I had a 2004 C70 for a year that I traded in and its like night and day. The new one was one that the dealer had on the lot for less than 24 hours because someone ordered it for a lease and decided not to proceed with the $899 payment a month so they called me and I got it. I have a 2004 C70 that has been at Volvo service for about 8 times and finally was seen by the Regional Rep yesterday. The problem I experience is a shimmy/vibration at 50 mph that seems to go away at 70 mph. It is extremely noticable. The rep says that its the high performance tires and that I should get new tires - geez, it only has 10K miles! They say the tires "flat spot" ... Read More...

Dumb question ... bought my first volvo (2004 S60 2.5T) back in October of 2004 ... good price $26,800 ... financed $22,731.50 ... told the local dealer i was interested in the new C70 ... so they ordered one in my name with my specs with their money... supposed to have first dibs on when it comes in April/May ... and this is the dumb question... should i expect to pay ...
