What year was yours? I have a new 2010 and test drove several (new and used) and never had any of those problems. Very low wind noise, no alignment problems, handles great. Are you sure the dealer didn't sell you a used car that had been wrecked? I got a great deal on my C30. It�s a 6 speed, with the climate, sunroof, metallic paint, etc. and it is wonderful. It ... 2.4i isn't coming. Volvo simply isn't interested in the bargain basement market. Too much competition and no profits. As it is, the C30 probably won't make them much money at all, at $24,000 Volvo won't have a diesel engine ready for the US market until 2010. Whether or not they decide to import a diesel will depend on the market conditions at the time.
