This car, overall, is excellent.
Living between New Jersey and
Massachusetts, my only major complaint
is the poor traction in wet weather,
but this is a result of the rear wheel
drive, which makes the car much more
fun to drive on dry days. I have had
no major mechanical problems, and
after a major accident, I walked away
with no injuries and a good-as-new car
The inline-6 is the best engine you
can buy (just ask any BMW owner), and
Volvo does this wonderful setup
justice. It's great to see the faces
of kids in Civics in your rear-view.
The sunroof, automatic climate
control, and extremely supportive
seats are also excellent.
Better standard tires would be nice
(the snow tires I bought are simply
horrible on dry roads, but wonderful
in snow and rain) as would better gas
milage and a slightly more powerful
engine - it seems to gasp for air
under hard acceleration.
