This has been a well-ahead of its time
car. It is a lot of fun to drive it. It
still beats the new Altimas 3.5 (V6),
the fastests Ford Mustangs and GM
Camaros, BMW 540s, and all Mercedes we
have ever seen in the USA (no V12 yet),
while it has been up there with the
Porsche Carreras. Too bad it cannot go
over 150 mph.
Well built, powerful engine (so far at
115,000 miles), attention to detail,
good Volvo Regional support.
Upgrade the cheap 5th tire to a full-
size tire (like it is done throughout
Europe); do the electronic switch (for
shifting) right from the very
beginning; improve the quality of the
