I am inheriting a 1995 850 Turbo Wagon with 188,000 well maintained miles. I have never owned a Volvo or a turbo. From my internet study of this model, I feel that my benefactor must have thought well of me to offer this treasure. I plan to keep her memory alive by keeping the wagon in daily drive condition. Other than the obvious maintanence requirements, is there anything I need to ... Read More

Hello everyone, brand new owner of a 1995 Volvo 850 GLT. This one has the SC-710 radio in it. My question is... if I upgrade to the SC-815 or SC-816 can I hook a subwoofer up to it? I'd like to stick with factory volvo equipment, especially for the overall look of the dashboard. Is it possible? Thanks.

I have a turbo sedan with automatic transmission. It came with low-profile tires and 16" rims, which were a disaster. This has been a common problem among lots of manufacturers who sell cars with low-profile tires in the United States, where city streets are often in bad condition. There was a class-action lawsuit against Volvo on the issue (as well as against other manufacturers). I got a check for $500, which ... Read More

We purchased this car because of its performance and safety features. When the car is in working order, it is hard to beat. The problem is the car has been very expensive to maintain. Our mechanic has told us that the evaporator coil for the air conditioner has to now be replaced to the tune of a thousand bucks. I am not necessarily complaining about the cost(I guess I am a ...
