I was in College and needed an old car
to get through the next two years of
low income and a full load of classes.
It was risky buying a European import
because of their expensive repair
history. I took the risk after a
thirty minute test drive in a hot red
volvo 850 and to this day I am very
glad I made the purchase. I had a bad
thermostat and corroded wire harness
but considering the year and mileage it
was just normal wear and tear. It has
never left me stranded. Next car is S70
Mobil synthetic with the base 5
cylinderer engine and premium gas i get
excellent power/performance. Boxy
style, GLT alloys and seat comfort.
steering is tighter than the S60!!
If you are reaching 100K miles replace
your shock/struts and you will be
amazed with the handling of this car.
It will feel brand new. Its worth the
money for new ones.
