Review
This car is still holding up after all these years. The exterior has no rust, even after spending 3 years on the coast in Maine. A phenomenal car ~ I wish they still made them like this. We call her "The Tank". She's never been known for her creature comforts, but my boys have learned to drive in her, and I've always known they'd be safe.
Favorite Features
Thefeeling of safety and security when one of my kids pulls out of the driveway.
Suggested Improvements
Too late for that now. They don't make anything like this anymore.

Review
My wife and I inherited this car from her parents two years ago. Her family drove it for almost 10 years before giving it to us and this thing will not die. I had never driven a Volvo before this one and her family mostly owned them for safety reasons but the odometer has stopped at 202,000 miles and the car just keeps trucking along. I have really fallen in love with this car and will be sad to see it go (which very well maybe never). After somewhere around 240,000 miles with little to no maintenance I am officially sold on Volvo. If you are thinking about buying this car I wholeheartedly recommend it. It has truly amazed me.

Review
My boyfriend had one in his garage for about a year before I bought mine. Even though he didn't drive it, he refused to sell it to me because he was too attached. Now I have my own. It's a wonderful car. I love the boxy (but not too boxy like 740s) look. Runs great, comfortable. Always reliable.
Favorite Features
My seats are always so comfortable even for extended amounts of time. I love the interior and exterior colors and design. I love the sound the engine makes and how well it runs. I also like how many features they come with!
Suggested Improvements
Doors get creaky. Brakes tend to be loud with no fixing them. Door cubbies break.

Review
This car is absolutely a tank and a workhorse. I have driven the crap out of it and it just keeps going. In the 15 years my dad and I have owned it, we have only had to invest about $2000 in it, not including routine maintainence.
Favorite Features
It is ugly to most, but it has the tightest turning radius and will just go go go.
Suggested Improvements
Not very aerodynamic, the air conditioning is poor and conversation is difficult with the windows down.

i've owned 2 of these and think they were built great... reliable and if well taken care of will perform..... only thing i don't like is that the seats are boxy and no contour for the body....

its classy sturdy look. its great metal body , easy to work on engine , all the space in the engine compartment........ and its reliability
Suggested Improvements
put good gas in it and a fuel injector cleaner every so often .... it will perform a lot better on takeoffs and give you a lot smoother engine ride....
