I bought my car back in '98 off the
recommendation of my father who had
just bought another used 240 himself a
few months back. Its boxey and not
really great on leg room for a tall guy
like me, but its such an awesome car.
No major repairs since I've had the
car. I love it so much. I take it to a
private mechanic who used to work for a
volvo dealer before he opened his own
shop, so the car is so well maintained.
I'm looking for another used car, and
its going to be a volvo. My dad just
bought a used 92 940 GL and I'm
probably going for the same. I keeping
my 240 though...even at 208000 miles,
it runs way better than alot of newer
cars on the road today.
Reliability, safety, handling...getting
stopped by other volvo owners and
sharing the "Volvo experience".
