2005 Volkswagen Touareg V8 AWD 4dr SUV (4.2L 8cyl 6A)

Review

VW has come late to the SUV market, great design, good funtion and a surperb off road vehicle. Here is what they do not tell you about the 2004 SUV of the year! Electronics are overengineered as it relates to warning drivers on a faulty tire presure system, seat belt chimes that do not allow drivers to leave the car running with out being cherped to death, radio's with on-board map system must be cleared everytime you start the car by excepting the disclaimer "release/acceptance" button! Something to look forward to for as long as you have your vehicle. One of the best dummy warnings is the airbag warning, buzzer, then bell/chimes to tell you it is off

Best Features

Interior fit and finish, great front seats and leather treatments. Off road capibilities are not as good as my H2, but very close.

Worst Features

Get ride of the bells, chimes and warning sensors for everything but critical or real life saving safety features. How about having a seat belt warning buzzer go off once you put it into gear. Would like to get into the car in a AZ hot day,run the air without putting on the belts.
