Zesty acceleration from the 2.0-liter turbo four. Handling is nimble with a lot of capability. Steering and brakes feel a bit soggy.
Comfort
Smooth riding and hushed. The Tiguan glides over pavement in a refined manner. In the backseat, there is a lot of headroom though the seats themselves are flat.
Function
The cabin is laid out in a logical manner, but there's not much cargo space behind the rear seats. Visibility is panoramic through the upright windshield.

Looking like a baby Touareg, the Tiguan exudes an upscale vibe inside and out.
Comfortable Among compact crossover vehicles, the Tiguan stands out for its refinement and comfort.
Daily Commuter It's the right size for nimble maneuverability, yet still retains the tall seating position and expansive view of the road like a larger SUV.
