2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbodiesel 6AM)
Let's see what I should say about this car: with $10,000 HPFP failures, sunroofs which doesn't close, doors which doesn't shut right, intercooler's which ice up in cold weather, rear cupholders which get stuck even after dealer fix it and more
Fact: no car is perfect but also the fact is how many cars are out there which can devlep a mechanical failure which cost more than 1/3 of the price of the car to fix it? Another sad fact is the company which doesn't take responsibility to admit to the problem and blames the poor quality fuel. It is not like that the fuel quality was good here before! I made a mistake to buy one. That's all! READ VW FORUM
Being worried after each fueling, if the HPFP is going to fail this time.
Being Worried about all these problems and what would be my car resale value in couple years.
VW to step in and take responsibilty. This could be a good car like the previous model TDI. people who buy diesel cars are looking for longivity more than anything else. Every new car has it's own flaws but the important factor is: Does the company take care of their customers. What? 50,000 mile warranty is good for an engine which suppose to go 200,000 to 300,000 miles?!!! And a design which the cost of it's fuel system repair is more than half of the vlaue of the car when it is sold as used in few years?!!!!. STEP IN VW. Look at Toyota, Ford ect. people don't have to get in accident or die for a company to issue a recall.
