I bought my 2010 Jetta in May 2010.
It is my second Jetta and 4th VW/Audi product I've owned.
By far this is the best Jetta ever made.
The 2010 includes many improvements over the 2009 and earlier models.
The seats were given my cusion making them even more supportive. The lumbar is very good.
User interface ergonomics are excellent. Interior build materials are on par with premium level vehicles.
The Mk. V Jetta compares well against the likes of the Mercede-Benz C-230.
The standard audio system is 8 speakers with excellent sound quality. Sunroof is smooth and quick.
Everything is right where is should be in this car.
It is a joy to drive or ride in around town or cross country.
My favorite feature is the nimble, smooth and precise handeling characteristics of the Jetta.
It takes road imperfections like a champ. The ride is suple and stable and excellent for its segment. Front and passanger seating is above average in comfort. Rear leg room is adequate for 6'2 passangers. Rear A/c vents quickly cool the rear cabin. Defrosters and very quick. 60/40 folding rear seat is invaluable. As in in all VWs fit and finish is top notch. Build materials are superior and you will find nothing close to it in lower market segments.
Else where in the world VW is an upscale Premium brand and when compared to most American pleblying offerings its near luxury. Reliablility is 5 star
Everyone likes more power.
I would have liked for the 2.0T FSI to have been offered in all trim levels.
The 170-hp/177-flbs tq is more then adequate matted with the 6-speed transmission especially with use of tiptronic.
Would change the location of the AUX media input in the gas models.
Its very inconviently ,located deep in the armrest console. Aftermarket underseat pullout storage is available for front seats but it should be standard.
All available space is put to great use in the car. Limited edition Jettas should have had the touchscreen available. Wind and road noise is adequately dampened but the car could your a little more sound proofing.
Their isn't much I would like changed.
