I had this car for little over a month, 1900miles. Great car....but, I am ready to replace it for regular gasoline. The dealership found already traces of regular gasoline in my fuel system, even I only fueled only 3 times with diesel. You will have hard time finding a good gas station that doesn't mix the cheaper regular gasoline into the more expensive diesel fuel. Be aware, this becomes your problem, warranty doesn't cover this fraud. Replacing fuel system could cost you $6,000.
fuel economy, radio
the climate control knobs are bad, the line marks on the knobs are so bad that it's hard to see while driving what settings you want to pick. terrible design
I just bought a new Jetta. In only 2 weeks, I have already had 2 different problems requiring 2 different trips to the dealership. Neither VW nor the dealership offered a free rental car while my car was being repaired.
Great mixture of fun to drive and fuel economy. Getting about 36 mpg city and 45 highway. great stereo, love the sd memory card feature. Surprising trunk space; I like the bluetooth connectivity.
performance, mileage, stereo, styling.
driver's side window frame is too far forward to comfortably rest arm out window. Would shift easier from reverse to 1st if reverse was down instead of up; sometimes I start in 3rd without knowing it, and it kills. Should be able to restart it without turning it all the way off.
After having driven this car for 1,000 miles, there have been no problems with the car so far. The TDI makes this car very fuel efficient, averaging over 48 mpg, while being able to zip past cars when the need arises. The interior feels and looks upscale while the price is very reasonable.
Bluetooth hands-free connection. TDI for fuel-efficiency.
